ISI Day Tradition and Future

In 2003, 2004 and 2005, IBM Belgium and COMMON Belgium organized together an annual ISI Day based on iSeries Marketing and technical Approach and public relations between the different iSeries Belgian actors. This year, we are happy to propose you a little more funny approach of the ISI Day. We reserved a meeting room in the Autoworld in Brussels where we propose you to meet us together. The Autoworld is the Brussels well-know Old-Timer cars museum with a collection of more than 400 vintage automobiles dating from 1886 until the 1970s located in the Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels (free parking facilities)
This 2006 ISI Day will be based, as a tradition, on an one-day IBM Belgium Public Relations to be improved between IBM Belgium, COMMON Belgium, IBM Business Partners and Independant Software Vendors, clients and prospects System i5, members and non-members of COMMON Belgium on an attractive Belgian site easy of access with wine degustation and lunch included.
For the future, we invite Bart Van Den Meersche (CGM IBM Belgium) to comment us the IBM perspectives in general and IBM Belgium in particular.

The promise
of future Clinical Information Systems Challenges and perspectives at the beginning of the 21th century

Prof. Dr. Ir. Rudi Van de Velde, CIO, Academic Hospital and Professor at the Free University of Brussels would speak on his vision of informatics in the next 5 to 10 years. He would highlight the impact of foreign powerhouses on the future ICT landscape and would advice on how the computer professionals of today should prepare themselves for this highly competitive environment of tomorrow.

This event is shared into 3 parts : BP/ISV contact,
IBM Contact and Funny Afternoon
10.00-11.45 - First contact in the different BP/ISV premises in the morning for purposes of personal contacts, services presentations and/or products demonstrations
11.45-12.30 - Move to the Autoworld located in the Cinquantenaire Brussels Expo, transfer organized by the BP/ISV individual car or by group.

Clients and prospects are invited by the different BP/ISVs, for those clients who don't have a direct contact with a BP/ISV, the IBM team (Franz Bourlet & Fabian Michel) will assume a direct contact and general presentation directly at the Autoworld premises.
Each BP/ISV has the possibility to contact his different clients and/or prospects to invite them at this event. The enrollment will be made by each BP/ISV.
For the security aspects, in the Autoworld, a general consolidated enrollment list will be made by COMMON based on each BP/ISV enrollment lists. An entry badge will be foreseen at the Autoworld.
COMMON Belgium will organize his website to give a link to each interested BP/ISV for enrollment purposes.
Bart Van Den Meersche and the IBM Belgium System i5 team support this event. A general IBM mailing will be sent to the all System i5 clients database to announce this event.
According to the same conditions, COMMON Luxembourg and the Luxembourg BP/ISVs and clients are also invited, they will join us directly at the Autoworld.
