** For many organizations, key supporting functions such as IT,
HR and Finance are traditionally governed and executed by internal
staff, but many organizations are faced with the limitations of
this model. Fast growth, mergers, technology changes, skill shortage,
high costs and investments or lacking flexibility are amongst the
reasons for organizations to consider outsourcing. Outsourcing,
however is no magical solution and introduces other challenges,
both for organizations that receive the service and for the providers.
This speech will provide an overview of the most recent management
models and techniques that foster (out)sourcing success.
Clients and prospects are invited by the different BP/ISVs, for
those clients who don't have a direct contact with a BP/ISV, the
IBM team (Danny Van Daele) will assume a direct contact and general
presentation directly at the Brewers' House premises.
Each BP/ISV has the possibility to contact his different clients
and/or prospects to invite them at this event. The enrollment will
be made by each BP/ISV.
For the security aspects, in the Brewers' House, a general consolidated
enrollment list will be made by COMMON based on each BP/ISV enrollment
lists. An entry badge will be foreseen at the Brewers' House.
COMMON Belgium will organize his website to give a link to each
interested BP/ISV for enrollment purposes.
Bart Van Den Meersche and the IBM Belgium System i team support
this event. A general IBM e-mailing will be sent to the all System
i clients database to announce this event.
