IT security has now become a crucial business issue covering the entire gamut of our IT and non IT operations. Every IT publication we read or the news we hear, security occupies central place. The mobile devices are coming en masse and bring their own security challenges. Security is everywhere. We fully need to know its implications.

Please see the agenda below for how through a joint event, GSE Belux and COMMON Belgium will arm you to brave these challenges.

User or company owned mobile devices represent a company challenge beyond the plain Mobile Device Management: Corporate applications used on mobile devices should be isolated from social media in order to prevent contact information and data leakage; User profile management known from the desktop should be transposed to the mobile – external – devices; File servers and other corporate data synchronised on mobile devices should be secured and protected against loss, theft or misuse. This presentation will give an overview of the above challenges and approaches to tackle the security concerns.
