Common Belgium goes virtual in the Covid-19 crisis time

 Dear Common Belgium community,

Life in the last weeks is disrupted world over because of the Covid-19 pandemic and currently nobody can predict when everything will become normal. Our heart goes to those who are impacted directly or indirectly and to the valiant healthcare, police, grocer and other essential communities bravely facing the situation. We fully understand that your first priority now is you, your family and your friends’ health and well-being and we wish you to stay healthy and safe.
At the same time, life must carry on. Even in these difficult times, Common Belgium aims to continue providing education, training and virtual activities on IBM Power Systems and the IBM i. The Board was planning its spring in-person activity and now we are concentrating fully on remote education through webinars.
Our first webinar will be on “The IBM Power Systems in the IBM Pubic Cloud”, given by Fabian Michel, Client Technical Architect, IBM Systems Belgium. You will soon receive full details and the registration link.
Before that, we will request you to join us in listening to Thomas Harrer, CTO IBM Systems Europe, on either 2nd or 3rd April, discussing “The Future of Computing and the Value of IBM Platforms” (abstract and registration details below).
In the meantime, we wish you to keep the moral, look after your family and friends and especially the elderly, and continue your children’s education.
Stay healthy, stay safe and take care.
